has been around for about 700 years. The first recorded soapmaker in Marseille was in 1370 and by
1688, Louis XIV introduced regulations limiting the use of the name "savon de Marseille" to soaps
made in and around the area, and only could be made of olive oil. Later as the "new oil's " came
into being" Marseille" introduced the new pure vegetable oils into their products. Today these soaps
continue to provide ingredients that are pure, gentle, and naturally moisturizing for your skin!
